Preservation Service
Cars used regularly or needing preventative upkeep

Work Done Everything in Classic Essentials, plus:
- Spark plug replacement
- Air filter clean or replacement
- Fuel filter replacement, where fitted
- Ignition points inspection/adjustment, if fitted
- Condenser replacement, if required or age unknown
- Distributor cap and rotor arm inspection
- Ignition timing check and adjustment
- Idle speed adjustment
- Carburettor balance, where applicable
- Carburettor mixture check/adjustment
- Throttle linkage check and lubrication
- Choke/cold-start operation check
- Valve clearance check/adjustment, where reasonably accessible
- Brake adjustment, where manual adjustment is fitted
- Clutch adjustment, where manually adjustable
- Door, bonnet, boot, hinge, and latch lubrication
- Longer road test

These are "from" prices, because classics vary massively — a 4-cylinder MG is not the same job as a V12 Jaguar, triple Weber straight-six, or seized-up barn-find. Additional parts, seized components, specialist oils, rare filters, multi-carburettor setups, V8/V12 engines, major repairs, welding, machining, MOT fees, and rolling-road tuning are quoted separately.
